KPC MEMBERS ROOM โข BETA
Log your activation from the park: tap a POTA spot to fill it in, look up every call, watch your contacts land on the map, keep an eye on your rate, spot yourself, and send POTA the right file when you're done.
Works in Chrome or Edge on a computer, or Chrome on a newer Android phone (USB-C cable), with the radio plugged in by USB. Not on iPhone yet. Other radio types and the speed / CI-V settings are on the VIP Hunters Lounge CAT & QRZ tab (same settings).
When you're done, send your contacts straight to your QRZ logbook (works on phones too). It needs the logbook API key of the QRZ logbook for the call you were on (qrz.com โ Logbook โ that book โ Settings โ API key; QRZ's logbook API is part of a QRZ subscription). The key is kept only on this device.
POTA wants one file per park (CALL@PARK-DATE.adi): upload at pota.app โ My Logs. WWFF / KFF gets one ADIF file (CALL@KFF-0000 DATE.adi) for your WWFF log manager. SOTA gets the sotadata CSV: upload at sotadata.org.uk.
Open the rest of the club website (Members Room, Hunters Lounge, maps, guides). In the installed app it opens in your browser, and the logger stays open here.
On a computer (Chrome or Edge): tap ๐ฒ INSTALL THE LOGGER above, or the install icon at the right end of the address bar. It opens in its own window like a program.
On an iPhone or iPad (Safari): tap Share (on newer iPhones โขโขโข, then Share) โ Add to Home Screen โ Add.
On Android (Chrome): tap ๐ฒ INSTALL THE LOGGER above, or โฎ โ Add to Home screen / Install app.
No signal at the park? Tap ๐พ SAVE FOR NO SIGNAL first, with your park set (it also saves the park list for PARKS NEAR ME and the street map around your park). With no signal you can still log, see your rate and notes, find nearby parks by GPS and download your POTA files. Spots, call look-ups, self-spotting and the map pictures need signal; calls you've looked up before are remembered.
Call sign details come from public FCC data (callook.info, HamDB). Your log stays on this device (two copies) until you download it. KPC is an independent ham radio club, not part of Parks on the Airยฎ.
