JUNE 5–6, 2027 • KPC EVENT
Kentucky became the 15th state on June 1, 1792. Every year on the first weekend after its birthday, KPC heads out to activate Kentucky parks and celebrate — 235 years in 2027. Saturday is also the Kentucky QSO Party, so hunters will be listening for Kentucky. Pick a park, get on the air, and wish the Commonwealth a happy birthday.
More KPC events, meetups, park activations, on-the-air activities, and other club activities will be added as plans are finalized.
PARKS ON THE AIR
Four weekends a year, POTA activators head out to support their parks. Pick a Kentucky park, get on the air, and help a hunter fill a log. Times run in UTC — check pota.app for the official rules and any changes.
Winter SYP — short days, cold hands, plenty of hunters at home.
ADD TO GOOGLE CALENDAR ↗Spring SYP — parks green up and the bands come alive.
ADD TO GOOGLE CALENDAR ↗Summer SYP — beat the heat early and watch for storms.
ADD TO GOOGLE CALENDAR ↗Fall SYP — the best weather of the year to activate.
