KENTUCKY POTA
UPDATED LINK SYSTEM
POTA references now point directly to the Next POTA park information page at next.pota.app/park/US-####. Camping, resort, and cabin buttons are direct hyperlinks. Utilities are listed with notes such as “Water only” or “Electric + Water + Sewer” where established.
On this page the list of 195 parks comes from the club’s live Kentucky data file, so it stays current.
FIELD-USE NOTE
Always verify current park operations, campground closures, permits, hunting restrictions, and activation boundaries before travel.
Maps: Use the Official Map First
Dark OFFICIAL MAP buttons (gold outline) open maps published by the managing agency (KDFWR, Kentucky State Parks, Nature Preserves, Forestry, NPS, USFS, USFWS). Use them first for activation boundaries.
OSM BOUNDARY buttons open OpenStreetMap, a community-edited source. Its boundaries may be incomplete, outdated or wrong — never rely on them alone. When in doubt, confirm with the agency.
Find a Park
Tap a number range to jump to that section. Every park number opens its Next POTA page; NEARBY jumps to that park’s nearby-parks list.

Kentucky 2-Fers & 3-Fers Index
About these GPS points
The GPS points in this index are not exact activation spots. They are rough guide pins put together by KPC to get you to the general area where two or three parks may meet. Nobody has confirmed you can set up right at that point. Before you count a 2-fer or 3-fer, check every park's official map and boundary, make sure you and your gear are on public land inside each park (within 100 ft of the trail or water for trail and river parks), and follow each program's rules.
Kentucky Wild River Corridors
